I've been an entrepreneur since about 2006, having owned and co-owned a number of successful businesses - including delivering 1:1 services, consulting/coaching, selling physical products, and education businesses.
I started The Helpful Academy back in 2015 because I love to teach people what I've learned during two decades in business, and I'm passionate about making business support affordable and accessible.

This project is for information only (there are no actions steps to do). So only do as much or as little of it as you need.

Most people don't feel like having a budget is sexy. And many people have stories around "not being good at budgets".
BUT:

• And how DO you put away money for profit, when it feels like you hardly have enough for the basics?

Many small business owners feel like they've plucked their prices out of thin air! (Or, used the whole "guest-ti-mate" method.)
But, how DO you work out how much your products cost to create, or how much your services cost to deliver, to ensure you're charging enough to cover ALL your costs, and pay yourself fairly?
In Step 4 you'll examine your business model, use my very easy calculators to work out all your most important business numbers and cost out your pricing, so that you know for certain whether your existing prices are enough.
At Step 4, you'll choose the best pricing project for you...
I know how busy you are! So, The Pricing Project is separated by business type to avoid wasting any time looking at content which doesn't apply to your business model!

I know that doing online training only isn't for everyone. Some people love the extra momentum and accountability that working one-to-one with someone provides (and I'm one of those someones!)

No, definitely not. Whether you've been in business 2 months, or 20 years, if your business is not as profitable as you want it to be, the 5 Step Profit Fomula is designed to help you improve your profitability and achieve your business goals.
The beauty of The Profit Formula online program is that The Pricing Project is separated out by business type. So, take the E-Commerce version if you're a products based business with an online shop, and take the Services version if you have a service-based business such as coaching, freelancing, health or other professional services OR you have digital products such as courses and memberships.
You will need a mixture of time to watch the online content, time to implement the training, and time to meet with Kat.
Here's an indication of how much time each of these components takes:
- The Money Lingo Project video training duration is: 1 hour and 23 minutes (assuming you need to watch every single video)
- The Business Budget Project video training duration is: 19 minutes (the value is in the template and workbook)
- The Profit First Project video training duration is: 1 hour and 55 minutes
- The Pricing Project and Sales Goal video training duration is:
- E-Commerce - 2 hours and 43 minutes
- Services - 2 hours and 9 minutes
The implementation time for each business will be very different, based on your own unique circumstances.
There will be 4-5 hours of 1:1 coaching involved in this package.
This Accelerator is designed to be completed over a 6-8 week period
If you would like to complete this program in less than 6 weeks you're absolutely welcome to accelerate your results even more by meeting with Kat closer together. Your ability to do this will depend on the speed of your implementation.
But it is incredibly achievable to do this package in less than 30 days!
However, please note that this service has been designed to take a MAXIMUM of 8 weeks.
For this reason, the one-to-one coaching package involved in this offer does expire. If someone chooses not to complete the work, or have the coaching sessions inside 8 weeks then the coaching sessions will expire.
This is because Kat's diary books up fast and because it's not a good use of our time together when there are long gaps in between sessions because momentum is lost and things need to be re-explained.
However, if for any reason someone cannot complete the coaching component, lifetime access to the online training will remain.
Absolutely. It's incredibly simple to rebook your sessions using the booking system.
Please note that there is a 48 hour reschedule or cancelation policy in place. So if you realise you can't make a session, please reschedule it at least 48 hours out from the session time.
Sessions cancelled at short notice and on the day will be forfeited.
Unfortunately this is impossible to do. Your individual results will vary depending on:
• How quickly and effectively you put in place what you learn inside The Profit Formula
• Your industry
• Your brand strength
• The size of your existing audience
• Your customer service
• Your product
However, I guarantee that if you follow The Profit Formula system, you'll know what numbers you need to achieve to make your business profitable.
Because this is a one-to-one service package, there are no refunds available once the package has started. But if you change your mind in the first 7 days, you may have a refund minus a $100 admin fee.
