We measure 30 different systems and 8 different areas, because we found that if people came to us for one system solution, and we implemented that for them, then often it would uncover another issue we hadn’t previously known about.
On discovering that, it often led to wasted time, because we had to go and make alterations to the solution.

We soon discovered that it actually saved a lot of time but looking at the big picture first, assigned priorities and worked to a longer-term upgrade plan.

This process became so successful with our clients, that we designed The BOSS Test to automate the process for us.

That is difficult to say – how long is a piece of string? The work involved in implementing changed to improve your systems will depend on so many factors – what are your goals, what are the current systems you operate, what are the most urgent improvements you need, how bad are the existing systems?

The BOSS Test is definitely the first step in a process of up-levelling. 

How many changes you decide to implement after taking it is completely up to you.

This partly depends on your results, because each report is unique. But, the total report length is around 35 pages.

Great question! We have tried to make the recommendations as powerful and straightforward as possible. Rather than suggest specific systems, we suggest key actions to take, because there are no one-size-fits-all systems solutions. The key actions are designed to help you pick the most strategic systems and changes for your business.

This test is designed for small to medium businesses. It can help businesses set up their systems from a start-up level through to established businesses with small-medium teams.

The BOSS Test is particularly designed for businesses and entrepreneurs who would like to scale their business efficiently and profitably, in an achievable way, regardless of the level.

It is not designed for large businesses and corporates.

The BOSS Report is very comprehensive, so we do not offer support. However, for those that would like more help to digest their result, we highly recommend our BOSS Report Debrief and Strategy Coaching.

Well, that’s completely up to you. However, we find that our clients get the most value out of taking it again regular to measure and review their process.

We recommend retesting every 90 days at your quarter end review. However, for some smaller businesses that may be too frequent. Six monthly or annually is also valuable. Do what you feel is most helpful to your business.

Wanna know a secret? There is no business in the entire world that will score perfectly in The BOSS Test. That’s unfeasible and scoring perfectly isn’t the point.

The point is to know which areas you need to improve in the most, and have clear action steps to take to help you improve these areas.

Business Owners are busy. Time is at a premium. Systems can be time-consuming to implement. Which is why we’ve designed a tool to help you prioritise and maximise on your time investment.

Knowledge is power. Wouldn’t you rather know and have that power?

The BOSS Test is designed for small to medium businesses and entrepreneurs.

• It will help start-up businesses understand which systems are the highest priority to implement first.
• It will help established small-medium businesses who are wanting to scale, measure their existing systems and work out which areas are the highest priority to improve or implement.

While it may still provide some value for them, this Test is not designed for businesses with Large Teams or Corporates.

This test is designed to help businesses of all industries. However, it should be noted, that one area we don’t measure is how inventory is managed. That is one area it won’t test for product-based businesses.

You can, but, you will need to purchase a separate Test for each business because each purchase is only for 1 test.

In this case, we would recommend making a purchase, with a separate email address, for each separate business so that you have 1 account/login per business.
